How to Cancel Pandora in 2026

Who is actually billing you?
This is the part that trips people up. Pandora Plus and Pandora Premium can be billed four different ways, and the cancel button lives in a different place for each one.
- Direct through Pandora (you signed up on pandora.com or entered a card in the app on Pandora's own screen). Cancel on the website.
- Apple App Store (you subscribed inside the iPhone or iPad app). Cancel in iPhone Settings.
- Google Play (you subscribed inside the Android app). Cancel in the Play Store.
- Amazon, Roku, or a carrier like Verizon or T-Mobile (often bundled with your phone or TV plan). Cancel through that provider.
Pandora states plainly that its support team "is unable to manage subscriptions or trials purchased through Apple, Amazon, Roku or carriers such as Verizon, T-Mobile, etc." So if you cancel in the wrong place, the charge keeps coming. Check your last receipt or bank statement to see who took the money before you start. Terms change, so confirm the current path on Pandora's help center.
How do I cancel Pandora on the website?
Use this if Pandora bills you directly.
- Go to pandora.com and sign in to your account.
- Click your profile image, then open Settings.
- Go to the Subscriptions page.
- Select Switch Plans.
- Click Cancel Subscription in the bottom corner of that screen.
- Confirm that you want to stop future payments.
The Cancel Subscription link is deliberately tucked into the corner of the Switch Plans page, not on the main Subscriptions screen. That is where people give up and assume there is no cancel option. There is. Keep going.
Canceling on mobile web
On a phone browser, go to pandora.com, tap the menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the top left, tap Subscription, sign in if asked, then choose Switch Plans and Cancel Subscription.
How do I cancel if Apple bills me?
If you subscribed inside the Pandora app on an iPhone or iPad, Apple is the biller. Pandora cannot cancel it. Do this on the device:
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions.
- Tap Pandora.
- Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.
Deleting the Pandora app does nothing to the billing. You have to cancel in Subscriptions.
How do I cancel if Google Play bills me?
If you subscribed inside the Android app:
- Open the Google Play Store app.
- Tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Tap Pandora.
- Tap Cancel subscription and confirm.
Amazon, Roku, or carrier billing
If Amazon Appstore, Roku, or a carrier set up your subscription, cancel through that account. On Roku, highlight the Pandora app on the home screen, press the Options button, choose Manage Subscription, then Cancel Subscription. For Verizon, T-Mobile, or another carrier, log in to that carrier account or app and remove the Pandora add-on.
When does my Pandora access actually end?
Canceling stops the next charge. It does not cut you off immediately. Pandora's terms say your access "will continue until the end of your then-current Access Period," meaning you keep Plus or Premium until the paid period you already bought runs out. After that, your account reverts to Pandora Free (ads, limited skips).
To avoid the next charge, cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date. If you cancel with only hours to spare, the renewal can still process.
Will Pandora refund me?
By its own policy, no. Pandora's subscription terms say purchases are "final and non-refundable" and that it "will not issue you any refund, including partial, pro-rated, or otherwise unless required to do so by law." So a mid-month cancel does not get you money back for the unused days. If Apple or Google billed you, their refund policies are separate, and you would request a refund from them, not Pandora.
If you were charged after you thought you canceled, or you were billed on a plan you never signed up for, that is a different situation. You can dispute the credit card charge with your bank, and it helps to understand the difference between a chargeback and a refund before you start.
